Good bye

Well we made it through another ten weeks here at Kaplan. I am sure everyone did great. There are a lot of great instructors here at Kaplan. I really like the online learning environment as it is convenient and can be shaped around your life style. I do not really like that fact that most of the time, your have little contact with your classmates. I am a very social person and it just seems weird to spend ten weeks with a bunch of people yet not really even know them. I do have to be honest and say I am glad this class is over. I am not a natural writer and have found this class, and the one before it, quite a struggle. I have made it though. Good luck to all!

Almost there

Well I just submitted my final draft of my paper this morning. Wow, what a relief! I had already submitted it to the writing center and made changes based on their input. They were very helpful. I hope to get my A&P paper done in time to submit it but it does not look like I will. I will be out of town Wednesday night so I will not be attending seminar. Good bye to all my fellow students. Good luck in the future here at Kaplan!

Right or wrong

Let's suppose you go to your friend's house and you see that their neighbors have three cats; mother, father and kitten. Let's suppose, again, that these three animals are flea-ridden, malnourished, sick, living outside and with no apparent food or water. Then maybe your friend might tell you that the neighbors have been away for several days and no one has stopped by to feed the animals. They might also tell you that the fleas are so bad that they have invaded their house and made their kid sick. Maybe they even tell you that they have seen that the parents are well on their way to having another litter. If you were to take that kitten and take it to the vets and get it's shots and treat it for the fleas and give it a great home with plenty of food, water, and love, would you be helping or stealing?

Looking up?

It's funny how you can be in such a bad "funk" for a while and then a few days go by and things seems so much brighter. My husband started a new job last week and we found out he is making much more money than we originally thought. How many times in my life will I get to say that? :)So some of the money issues are a little less depressing. My business slows down this time of year so I need to help out the girls less which means more time for school and I haven't forgotten anything too major in days. :)I am still working around the speeding ticket issue but I guess there is not much I can do about it now. So all in all I have to say that maybe things are looking up. Good luck to everyone!
