Right or wrong

Let's suppose you go to your friend's house and you see that their neighbors have three cats; mother, father and kitten. Let's suppose, again, that these three animals are flea-ridden, malnourished, sick, living outside and with no apparent food or water. Then maybe your friend might tell you that the neighbors have been away for several days and no one has stopped by to feed the animals. They might also tell you that the fleas are so bad that they have invaded their house and made their kid sick. Maybe they even tell you that they have seen that the parents are well on their way to having another litter. If you were to take that kitten and take it to the vets and get it's shots and treat it for the fleas and give it a great home with plenty of food, water, and love, would you be helping or stealing?

  1. In a pet lovers eyes you would be helping in the laws eyes you should have called them because they consider it stealing. But the scenario you just described is horrible and I have to say that it is wrong and if it's happening you should do something about it like call the human society or dog warden because that is not right and its animal cruelty. You wouldn't let a kid go like that would you? So why an animal?

  2. HELPING! It's a living creature that deserves love and care and if you were to help out those animals it would be a great deed. The parents should be taken to a shelter also so maybe they can find a good home. I can't stand people who abuse poor defenseless animals, they need us just like we need them. They give us love and comfort just as we take care of them and provide for them.

  3. I agree, it's helping. I would call the humane society to come and get the animals. If the owners are away, I think that constitutes mistreatment, if not abandonment.
